In late 2013, Peabody invited entries from small offices across the country to submit designs for three live London sites to compete for 6 places on their small projects panel. Out of 350 entries, we were shortlisted for an interview and subsequently Highly Commended for our submission, narrowly missing out on a much coveted spot on the panel.
ハックニーの Pembury Estate を対象とした私たちの提案は、難しい敷地条件によって形づくられた、輪郭の柔らかい建物です。1階部分には、北側のスポーツ・グラウンドへとつながるコミュニティ施設を備えたゆとりある公共スペースを設計しました。住戸自体は生活空間を中心に据えた設計とし、共用庭園を見渡すゆったりとしたバルコニーを設けています。屋上には、コミュニティ全体のための菜園を備えた保育施設の設置を提案しました。
